Flag Retirement Ceremony 9/10/2011

On Saturday September 10th a Flag Retirement Ceremony has been planned to be held in the parking lot of Nuts and Bolts Hardware (2320 S Collins St in Arlington). We are asking if any Boy Scout, Venture, and Adults that could help arrive no later then 10:30am in uniform and bring scissors to help in the ceremony. Cub Scouts, Parents, and Community are welcome to attend the Ceremony that will start at 11:00am. The plan is to retire flags for an hour and to be done by noon. As we approach Sunday's commemoration of the 9-11 attacks on America, 98.7 KLUV encourages you to replace your worn, torn or tattered flag and fly a bright, fresh fla…
