Scouts in Longhorn Council

June 7th

Here is a great opportunity to complete the Hunter Education course.  At each Gun Show,  the Dallas Arms Collectors sponsors the Hunter Education Class for youth who want to learn more about gun safety and proper wildlife conservation.  That’s Right….It’s Free!  Plus, you will get into the gun show for free. If adult leaders are interested in taking classes, there is a nominal fee for Range Safety Officer and Certified Shotgun Instructor. David Gladbach, Matthew Hudspeth, Thomas Hudspeth, Meaghan Lee, Josh Moyers,
Christian Plaue, Jeffrey Scott, Parker Scott, Cale Sherrod, Alex Singleton, Ian Spalding,
Alex Suggs, Josh Zaleski

The next Ordeal is May 16-18 at Camp Tahuaya.  Please encourage your troop's candidates to attend, urge your Ordeal members to do their Brotherhood, and please come out and join us also.
Scoutmasters & Leaders: please check with these members, if they are in your troop, and ask if they have received this email.  If not, please send me their email address so that I can send OA info to them.  Thanks.
And as always, the Talahi Chapter meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m., at the Elks Lodge, located at 601 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76010.   Our next scheduled meeting is at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.   The chapter officers and I would like to invite all Arrowmen to attend our meeting.   If you're a regular attendee, it will be great to see you again.  If you haven't been to a meeting in a while, please come and reconnect with the Order of the Arrow - we've missed you!
